I am a contemporary figurative artist. I primarily work in oils but I also incorporate a mixture of mediums such as graphite, charcoal, ash and gold leaf, and utilize both abstract and representational imagery in my pieces. In my pieces I wrestle with philosophical and theological themes. I am heavily influenced by different genres of Medieval artwork from icons to architecture as well as certain Modern artists and I have drawn many artistic similarities between the two eras.

Along with being an artist, I am a wife and a mother of six. Amidst all the chaos of raising a young family, I find time to retreat to my studio where I am able to explore those philosophical and theological concepts that pique my interest or boggle my mind. I document this whole process of questioning and discovering in my artwork.
